Empowering the Next Generation: Start-Up Support for Vececab Students in Uganda

Yesterday was a very special day for Vececab (Vision for Empowerment and Capacity Building). We were honoured to welcome the Swiss-based NGO “Vocational Training and Start-Ups in Uganda” and receive their valuable support for our students.

This partnership marks an important step in helping young people build a sustainable future through practical skills, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.

Our students from the Tailoring, Building, and Carpentry departments received start-up kits that will help them begin their own small businesses after completing their training at Vececab. These tools are not only materials; they represent opportunity, independence, and the chance to create a better future for themselves and their families.

But the support does not stop here. The students will also participate in additional training sessions focused on developing entrepreneurial skills, managing a small business, and successfully turning their vocational skills into sustainable income opportunities.

At Vececab, we believe that education is not only about learning a profession — it is about empowering people to become confident, independent, and active contributors to their communities.

We sincerely thank Vocational Training and Start-Ups in Uganda for believing in our students and supporting their dreams. Together, we are creating opportunities and building stronger communities.
