On 1 December 2025, VECECAB reached an important milestone in its brick production: the largest batch we had ever fired at one time.
Approximately 40,000 bricks were stacked and fired together in one enormous kiln pile — a record production for VECECAB.
Brick production is an important source of income for VECECAB. The bricks are sold locally, and the income helps keep the school operating and supports essential costs such as food, teachers and other daily needs.
The brickmaking activities were originally developed with support from eRko Organisation from Slovakia, which helped VECECAB establish the school and invest in brickmaking equipment.
Over the years, this activity has grown into an important part of VECECAB’s effort to become increasingly self-supporting.
The successful firing also demonstrates the experience and dedication of the team involved and provides a large quantity of building materials for sale and construction purposes.
We are proud of the team and everyone who contributed to this achievement.
