VECECAB recently had the pleasure of hosting a special Parents’ Day at our school — a heartwarming event that brought together students, families, teachers and respected members of our community.
The day was made even more meaningful by a VECECAB meeting attended by local leaders and key community figures who share our commitment to youth education, practical skills and community development.
Parents were given the opportunity to see firsthand what their children had been learning and creating during their training.
It was a proud moment for everyone as students demonstrated their growing skills and confidence.
- Carpentry students presented woodworking projects and furniture pieces that showed growing skill, creativity and dedication.
- Tailoring students displayed handmade clothing and jewellery, demonstrating craftsmanship and artistic expression.
The day was about much more than presenting finished work. It showed families and the wider community what practical education can mean for a young person’s future.
We are proud of what our students have achieved and grateful for the encouragement and support of their families, teachers, local leaders and community members.
Together, we continue to build a foundation for learning, growth and opportunity.
