This week, VECECAB said a heartfelt farewell to Fred and Kerstin, two dedicated volunteers from SES Germany.
After their period of service with us, they returned to Germany. While their departure left a space in our community, the impact of their work will continue to be felt for a long time.
Fred and Kerstin contributed greatly to our school through their time, knowledge, hard work and generosity.
Their support brought practical improvements that directly benefit our students and staff. During their stay, VECECAB received new tools for practical training, new mattresses for the children, and new wardrobes to improve daily living conditions at the school.
These may seem like simple things, but for many of the young people who come to VECECAB with very few personal belongings, a proper mattress, storage space and good training equipment can make a meaningful difference in daily life.
We are deeply grateful for everything Fred and Kerstin have done. Their generosity, commitment and kindness have left a lasting mark on VECECAB.
