VECECAB schoolchildren are taking action to help make Kalagi a cleaner and more environmentally responsible community.
Through regular clean-up activities and anti-littering awareness campaigns, the students are working to reduce plastic waste in their surroundings.
Their efforts do more than remove rubbish from the streets. By taking responsibility for their environment, the students also hope to encourage other people — both young and old — to think differently about waste and the importance of keeping their community clean.
Activities like this teach young people that positive change can begin with simple, practical action.
By setting a strong example, the students hope to inspire wider participation and contribute to a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future for Kalagi.
