This term VECECAB welcomed a new group of young boys who previously had no hope of attending school. Most had dropped out early and saw no future beyond casual labor.

Through VECECAB’s carpentry and woodwork program, they now have a path.

These boys now speak about their work with pride instead of hopelessness

•⁠ ⁠They see school as valuable for the first time, because it leads to income

VECECAB made it possible for them to dream again. Their future is no longer casual work - it’s skilled trade.
